At some point around January 2007, I had the inspiration to make a series of Art pieces that were both aesthetically pleasing and completely functional, so they could be incorporated into everyday life.
At some point around January 2007, I had the inspiration to make a series of Art pieces that were both aesthetically pleasing and completely functional, so they could be incorporated into everyday life. This desire led to create my “Table Project” (real clever title, huh?). It’s three years later, and I’m happy to say I’ve completed 20 tables like the one above. As the weeks go by I’ll talk more about the concept, the photographic content, and my Artistic process. These tables are not for sale but if you like what you see, Message Me, and you can commission a custom piece of your own. I’d love to discuss what kind of Custom Functional Art I can make for you, so please feel free to drop me an email.

Love, Humidity and the scent of Burning Street Meat weighed heavy on the air of this hot summer night in June, 2009. I couldn't resist the platter of chicken and rice that I had smelled from a block away and the concurrent opportunity to capture the brilliant lighting scenario this street vendor was inadvertently providing. Most pedestrians hustled past this brightly lit Halal cart on the Upper East Side, but this couple walked hand in hand like they were the only two people left on earth. [Yea, I know, I too just threw up in my mouth a little bit too, lol, but I still really like the photo.] This NYC street photograph reminds me of hot summer nights, while I try to survive through this damn cold winter. I hope you enjoyed this moment. I've got so many photographs that have not yet seen the light of day. It's my intent to share them with you on a daily basis. If you like what you see, I encourage you to visit my website, subscribe to this blog, and Follow me on Twitter. Also, I strongly advise you to Have a Happy New Year as well ! !
