At some point around January 2007, I had the inspiration to make a series of Art pieces that were both aesthetically pleasing and completely functional, so they could be incorporated into everyday life. This desire led to create my “Table Project” (real clever title, huh?). It’s three years later, and I’m happy to say I’ve completed 20 tables like the one above. As the weeks go by I’ll talk more about the concept, the photographic content, and my Artistic process.  These tables are not for sale but if you like what you see, Message Me, and you can commission a custom piece of your own. I couldn’t resist the platter of chicken and rice that I had smelled from a block away and the concurrent opportunity to capture the brilliant lighting scenario this street vendor was inadvertently providing. Most pedestrians hustled past this brightly lit Halal cart on the Upper East Side, but this couple walked hand in hand like they were the only two people left on earth. [Yea, I know, I too just threw up in my mouth a little bit too, lol, but I still really like the photo.] This NYC street photograph reminds me of hot summer nights, while I try to survive through this damn cold winter.
